"'CÉGEP' is the pre-university schooling that people in Quebec do after high school. This piece had a lot to do with me being in Montreal and sort of being a cultural "outsider" and/or the state of being translocated, so to speak. It's kind of a weird period for me, as I'm sort of bouncing back and fourth between the Chicago area and Montreal. CEGEP is sort of an "in-between" kind of thing that is unique to the province of Quebec, so as a title, it seems appropriate."
