We had heard so many stories of the Icarus Line and their shenanigans. So, we expected them to be assholes. They weren't. They were quite friendly. And we expected Dead Meadow to be burly mountain men. They weren't. They were clean, neat little fellows (with a HUGE sound, of course). And we didn't know what to expect from Battles but they kicked our ass with their super-smart, instrumental, math genius rock n' roll madness. (AA)
