This has been on the horizon for quite a while now, and not a day goes by without someone asking when it is due to be released. We did some trials with screen printing on different substrates, but felt that the image was losing some of it's fine detail, all the brush strokes and spray spatters. So in order to make sure that you get the best possible image, we've chosen to go down the archival giclee route! Initially printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm by the giclee experts over at Jealous Print, and then over-printed by us here at up-the-arts with 3 screened iridescent interference mediums and varnishes. Hopefully you'll agree that the outcome is stunning, and well worth the wait. It will be released to general public on Thursday 4th July at 5pm BST. However the 'Payback' pre-order scheme will run on this if you want to get ahead of the game. As per last 'payback', if you want to pre-order and get everything wrapped up before the release date, send us your pics of any other John Doe print that you've bought from us and still have (preferably on the wall not under the bed) pictured next to a dated publication of your choice, the funniest headline will win something.
