£950Ben Eine is one of urban art's most popular figures, a master of graphics, typography and tincture. Camouflage is an eight-colour woodcut and one of the most ambitious prints ever created at our dedicated Execution Dock studio. The design was carved into six different blocks: two walnut grains, two from maple wood, and two of English oak. These were individually coloured and applied to a red hand-painted background on traditional Japanese paper. The complex final blue layer took the form of a photopolymer flexi plate. Camouflage was printed using Execution Dock's large-format hydraulic etching press, only a handful of which exist worldwide.
Camouflage by Eine will be available from 16:00 BST (that's 08:00 on the West Coast of the USA, 11:00 on the East Coast and 17:00 on continental Europe) Thursday May 2nd 2013
