Artist Inspiration for the Seven Talking Tikis: Hina and Hayley, Maui and Max, Kevin and Keith, Negendei and Nate, Pele and Petey, Rongo and Roxie, and Tangaroa-Ru and Tammy. These are seven talking tikis in the courtyard of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room who introduce themselves to the guests before the big guy, Tangaroa lets guests inside. I was inspired by watching kids react to the tikis and tried to give each child and tikis in the paintings a distinct personality.
