"This print, Animal Pharm, took shape slowly over the past year. It might even hold the record for the longest gestation of anything I've made (not including the albums with finished art that ORL occasionally just doesn't put out). There was much deliberation, interspersed with long bouts of dwelling. A lot of shape-shifting occurred before the eureka moment(s). The working title was Spirit Animal Sex Farm... but then I remembered "Sex Farm" by Spinal Tap and didn't really want them dangling me by my ankles off the balcony at Sargent House. So yeah, Animal Pharm it is. As in the book. The one by Carlos Castaneda.
