Mondo in association with the The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema have partnered with Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation, the leading non-profit organization dedicated to film preservation for a very special screening & poster series of eight classic films with beautifully restored 35mm prints. My poster design is for Alfred Hitchcock's Shadow of a Doubt, regarded by many as the seminal Hitchcock film and Alfred's personal favorite.
- Alan Hynes
The movie follows a murderer on the lam (Joseph Cotten) visiting his relatives in Santa Rosa, Calif. and forming a strange bond with his rebellious niece (Teresa Wright). As she grows increasingly suspicious of her uncle’s motives, the young woman must reconcile her personal allegiances with a higher sense of moral responsibility.
145 copies were available at the screening, numbered only. 40 artist proofs also available signed and numbered.
3 color screen print with a metallic green.
