The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast charges my art studio with inspiration and I wanted to honor that with appreciation. With the upcoming End of The World comedy show at The Wiltern poised to be epic I thought I’d create an authentic handbill for it, like any rock gig should have.
The image was drawn and transferred to a woodblock where it was carved, inked and ran through a traditional etching press to create a prints on archival paper. The paper was dampened before the carved block was pressed, which embossed the image into the paper as well.
This poster was unsolicited and created as part of my brief studies at a printmaking studio in Minneapolis. It was not endorsed by Joe Rogan, will not be printed as an edition and will not be for sale.
