This new book, published in 2012, documents the important body of ADAM NEATE's work 'DIMENSIONAL PAINTINGS' which was exhibited in October 2011 at the Elms Lesters Painting Rooms.
In an attempt to capture the complex nature of Neate's dimensional paintings, and his use of a gamut of challenging materials, we worked closely with our designer Iain Cadby to create a truly unique book.
The 60 page book includes an introduction by Paul Jones and a dvd with an extended interview with Neate.
Unusually flush bound, the card covers feature photographic portraits of Neate by esteemed photographer Michael Birt. The binding reveals the raw edge of the card cover and has a matt white foil blocked cerise spine.
26 images of the artworks and 18 photographs of the works in situ in the gallery are printed on different Matt and Gloss paper stocks and utilise three different varnishes, including a UV, to enhance the qualities of the printed artworks on the page.
The book contains a double gatefold.
Compiled by Paul Jones, Fiona McKinnon and designed by Iain Cadby at Worlds Design.
