Instead, METALLICA members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, Robert Trujillo bestowed the METALLICA x VANS Half Cab Pro 20th Anniversary Edition for the occasion. In light of heavy metal rock tradition, the METALLICA x VANS Half Cab Pro 20th Anniversary Edition is in all-black, top to bottom, with heavy duty canvas upper and suede overlay. Etched along the blackened midsole sidewall, a bleak quote of “Those people who tell you not to take chances. They are all missing on what life’s all about.†from METALLICA’s song Motorbreath. To complete the design, the blood soaked hammer graphic on Kill ‘Em All is transposed behind VANS’ waffle outsole in clear rubber.
