"The item for sale is a rare original artwork by Shepard Fairey from 2002. This is probably one of the earliest examples of original work by the artist since he primarily worked with screen printing in those days. The subject of the artwork is the famed Mexican revolutionary Emiliano Zapata. There are stenciled images on both sides of the piece, the black layer on the front and the red layer on the back. This is a unique opportunity to own a old and rare original artwork by the leading figure in the Street Art genre.
This piece was purchased from the former co-owner of Tribal Clothing, a well-respected underground streetwear brand that has publicly collaborated with Shepard Fairey on many occasions in the late 90's to early '00's."
