Dead Ringer IPA is our best selling beer kit of all time. So popular that we felt that we had to acknowledge its place in homebrew history and pay tribute to it. We commissioned pivotal Twin Cities artist DWITT to create an exclusive silkscreened poster of Dead Ringer personified.
This exclusively designed poster is created in limited edition of 500. Each poster individually signed and numbered by the artist DWITT. Once they’re gone this 3 piece kit—pint, poster and beerkit—will never be offered again. Act quickly as this edition will sell out quickly.
This kit is the first to feature Northern Brewer's new beer kit story card. The card gives a brief history of IPA beer and the creative genesis of the Dead Ringer Ale. The card also includes a section for you to write your brew notes and keep them for future reference. Save these cards as you brew and watch your collection build over time. Saint Paul, Minnesota artist DWITT made the leap to become a full time artist almost a decade ago. In that time, using only traditional, non-digital instruments to create his work, he’s made almost 500 gig posters, has created the artwork for Twin Cities events such as the Zombie Pub Crawl & The Beer Dabbler, and even made artwork featured in the video game Guitar Hero II. On top of his poster work he also draws a regular food review comic for online magazine The Heavy Table, and has drawn 7 graphic novels for Lerner Publishing. When he’s not drawing, which is rare, he’s either in the garden or cooking, and will likely start home brewing soon.
