"This is a piece I drew and had sitting there ready to print for a few months and I finally got it done. The original drawing is actually pretty small, about 8×12, but I blew it up to around 18×27. I like the effect of magnifying the pencil marks since it really brings out the texture. Thematically I see this as a more triumphant continuation of “Never Ending,†though it really wasn’t planned that way.
It’s titled “The Visionary,†and I made two different color versions.
The colored versions has blue tones with metallic gold accents, and the black and white version actually has silver ink mixed into each color so the whole piece has a subtle metallic effect.
There are 25 colored pieces and 12 in black and white.
The colored prints are printed on French Muscletone stock and the variant is printed on Canson Edition 100% cotton paper."
