james murphy drove the band LCD soundsystem for years before their pre-planned demise in 2011, and i like that band a lot.
mr. murphy appeared at the punctuationally-challenged sasquatch! music festival this past weekend, and performed using records and turntables and good judgment and good taste. visually, there's a tie-in between this poster and the helmet which appears on the cover of LCD soundsystem's "sound of silver" record. yes, those are RCA cables.
we had some press issues while printing these, so all of the prints have some degree of irregular inkiness and a bit of spottiness. however, the irregularity is pretty uniform, overall, and other people try hard to get this kind of detail, so i'm playing the "inherent charm of the process" card. i like the way this print looks, in the same way i like my old jeans. if you demand absolutely perfect printing (see the bunnies, above), then this isn't the print for you.
