From the artist (Tom Tomorrow) -- Uncut sheet of printer's proofs for alternate version of Pearl Jam Backspacer CD cover. Pearl Jam had an exclusive marketing deal with Target, so the version of the CD that was sold through their own website and through record stores had different packaging -- it was more like a little hardbound book, and did not have the die-cut center hole. This is a 28 x 40 printer's proof that was overnighted to me after the initial press setup for a quality check. Copies were also sent out to the band in Seattle, and that's pretty much it. It has the front and back cover of the CD repeated multiple times, and has been treated with glow in the dark ink so that the "Backspacer" keys glow. This is printed on a medium weight paper stock that would have been trimmed and then pasted over cardboard, or whatever was used for a backing for the booklet version of the CD. Because this version did not have the diecut hole in the center, all nine images are shown on the CD cover.
