From the artist, Scotty Reifsnyder: "I've had the amazing opportunity to have been commissioned by Disney to create an illustration based on the Pixar/Disney film The Incredibles. This piece, entitled Here Kitty, Kitty was inspired by the first action sequence in The Incredibles film, where Mr. Incredible is en route to a crime scene when an elderly woman enlists his help to retrieve her cat, Squeaker from a tree in a nearby park. This limited edition print was done by the team at The Half and Half. It's a four color hand pulled silk screen print on acid free 100# French Whitewash Construction Paper is approximate 30â€L x 13â€W. This piece will debut at WonderGround Downtown Disney® District at the Disneyland® Resort, June 9, 2012. This new uncommon art gallery will is home to unique art collections from a generation of new artists."
From the D23 Blog: "Scotty Reifsnyder's piece titled "Here Kitty, Kitty" will be on display. Scotty, an artist from Pennsylvania, says, "My two-year-old son, Lukas, observed a cat in our neighbor's tree and said, 'Mr. Incredible!' He remembered the scene from the film where Mr. Incredible saves an elderly lady's pet cat while trying to stop fleeing bank robbers. It's easy to overlook the scene because it's in the beginning of the film, but it really defines Mr. Incredible as the ultimate no-job-is-too-small superhero.""
