The exhibit entitled “Inscrutable Mystery Guide” featured both prints and paintings. As part of this exhibit were a series of 99 small tiki paintings, each painting bearing a unique secret symbol. Accompanying each painting was a guide book explaining the symbology of the painting, something rarely done by Shag. Printing of the symbology guide books was limited to 99 copies. Only buyers of the original small tiki paintings have access to the symbology guide book.
