From sixtiesposters.com auction:
"Rare? Yes, I would definitely say that this poster could be described as rare (I think just two-three others are known to exist). It's an original/first print, used to promote the 1970 Isle of Fehmarn Festival in Germany, headlined by Jimi Hendrix. It was Jimi's last live performance before his untimely death. The Festival took place September 4-6, and also featured Ten Years After, Sly & the Family Stone, Canned Heat & Peter Green. As many of you know, there were other posters printed for this event with a completely different design. My guess is that those posters were printed for sale at the Festival, while this one was likely printed for local promotion. There's a "Bild Zeitung" logo in the lower left corner, which is Germany's biggest newspaper. The translation of the phrase to the right of the logo is "wishes you to enjoy Fehmarn". So, my guess is that this poster was printed by the paper to promote the Festival. I have scoured the poster to locate an artist's credit with no luck, which is a travesty because this is an incredibly compelling psychedelic Hendrix image. Should anybody out there know for sure, please share (I guess it's likely Kieser, but I do not know that for sure).

This poster measures 23 1/4" x 28 1/2", and is printed on a fairly thin/coated stock.
