"This design is my love letter to Tolkien and his work. I've read The Hobbit at least three times and even listened to the audio book, so you could say I'm a bit of a fan. Once the film started production a couple months ago, I figured it was time to design something involving one of my favorite books. I thought it would be cool to imagine Thorin and the rest of the dwarfs as their own company, so that's where the inspiration for a collegiate/company logo came from." - Wheels
