I was super pleased to be asked to make a poster for Swans' performance at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago. I've been a fan of Michael Gira's music for over 20 years, so to make a poster for this show was really nice. The imagery is inspired by their most recent record, “My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky”
The print is 18 x 24 inches, signed and numbered edition of 140 on Wausau manila stock. The detail on this one turned out great.
The Subject of the poster is a Sphinx, from Greek Mythology, seen through the prism of the American Midwest. Thanks for looking!
