DVD: Circle…. on one hand, they are so eclectic that the most off-the-wall drawing might work. On the other hand, they are so incredibly varied and odd that it’s a challenge to think up an image that captures their essence!
I chose to start with a skull, since most of their existing designs are based around them. Then, by Jussi’s request, the piece then took a turn towards a nautical “Jules Verne” theme. I like to think of it is a sort of occult compass, which is somehow fitting for the festival’s 2011 “artist in residence”!
