DVD: The four members of Shrinebuilder are like titans, too iconic to fuse into one, visually and aesthetically. All four respective bands have been mountains of inspiration for me at some point in life, which makes any potential image all the more difficult to conjure. The “shrine”, to me, is ultimately the self. My solution as an artist faced with the task to “illustrate” Shrinebuilder is to distill the piece down to components of one huge, cosmic, heraldic crest.
