"...adding [hand painting] details to the skies one by one...Unlike the Walden print--where I left areas of the sky undefined so details could be painted in later--here I'm adding a bit of detail to the existing cloud layer. The basic layout won't change, but small patterns and details will vary from print to print...adding depth and some subtle shading to the clouds..."
