Arkitip Issue No. 48 featured the work of Ryan McGinness. The custom-designed issue holds a 144-page artistfs book entitled Aesthetic Comfort, printed entirely in fluorescent orange, yellow, pink and green, with a full-bleed varnish and details of Ryanfs paintings presented in coarse halftones.
Arkitip took a few of the uncut 25 x 38 press sheets and sent them to Ryanfs studio in Chinatown, where he converted the pages into unique oversized Aesthetic Comfort posters. He created one large silkscreen and applied it to all the pages, some which received a single impression, others three (metallic gold, black and blue). The individual sheets feature different fluorescent artwork.
