Colored pencil, marker, and ink on bristol vellum.Michael Everett graciously created an original piece of artwork to honor Aron Ralston's courageous spirit and to help raise money for Aron's fund. Persons that made donations through friendsofcheese.com of $25.00 or more received a signed limited edition print.
While canyoneering in Utah, Aron's arm was pinned to the canyon wall by an 800 pound boulder. After being trapped by himself in a tiny slot canyon for five days, two of them without food or water, Aron was forced to cut off his own arm below the elbow so that he could rappel and hike to safety.
