Part of the first series of drawings where I was getting the Greasebat design worked out. He's a little more squatty than the final toy design... I suppose he grew a tad. But he still has his lovable ugly mug!
This one features Greasebat locked in combat with a disgusting seashore dwelling monster, as he breaks apart the monster's looping octopus-like tentacle in a juicy mess of blood and gore. Japanese text is a roaring noise.
This image was later used for a limited edition silkscreen print.
Size is 5.75 x 11 inches (14.6 x 28 cm).
Ink on acid free bristol board, signed in pencil "Jeff Lamm original" a one of a kind item. These original drawings may have pencil guidelines, traces of pencil sketching, ink smudges or other notations. Straight from my drawing board!
These illustrations should not be hung in direct sunlight without some sort of ultraviolet glass covering. Some of the inks are not lightfast and will fade over extended periods of time.
