This poster was created for and inspired by the award-winning documentary ALCATRAZ REUNION, directed by John Paget. The film is about a reunion of ex-convicts and guards at Alcatraz Island, once America's most notorious prison. The reunion ocurred on 14 August 2004 which marked the 70th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Penitentiary at Alcatraz Island.
The poster features actual mug shots of Alctraz inmates plus the characters that are featured in the documentary film.
The metallic ink gives it almost 3-D look as you can see different visual elements in the poster depending on angle of view.
