Based on the quote by Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, "Welcome to America. Americans Kill Each Other." On September 6th, 2010 Mayor Daley announced he will not run for re-election. After more than 20 years his retirement marks the end of an era.
The work measures 40 in. x 60in. and is stretched on a heavyweight frame. Stencil and aerosol on canvas. Signed and dated by the artist.
Only one canvas was produced from the original stencils — which have since been destroyed.
