"Well, like most Looooooost fans (I think), Desmond's one of my favorite characters and one day while watching a recent episode where he was looking clean and suave, I had this mental picture of him as this smooth time traveling badass. Then I thought of Back to the Future and combined the two. And I stuck in Faraday as the awkward bumbling sidekick."
