“this substrate was shaved straight from the fox den, hand bevelled with an abrasive pumice stone, slathered in regional walnut oil, overprinted with a rubylith-prepped basecoat consisting of 1600mgs of translucent gold (to subtly reveal the wood grain) then the hand squeegeed keyplate was screened with the patented firehouse possum nose, oil based brown™. finally, the 3/32″ birch backing was branded with the burning mark of Z, signed in gold, numbered of 13"
