King of the Chicago Blues. Muddy Water's son, Mud Morganfield is highly honored by this piece. He owns a print.

This print is 26” x 19” (66 cm x 48.3 cm) produced from my original oil painting. Muddy Waters has always been tops in my book of bluesmen. But forget about my opinion...He was the King of the Chicago Blues, heavily influencing blues legends that have followed. The Rolling Stones named themselves after his 1950 song "Rollin' Stone", Hendrix covered his songs, Clapton grew up a big fan of his, Dylan, Zeppelin, and the list goes on and on. Rolling Stone magazine ranked him at #17 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. I saw Muddy play in a small club in Milwaukee in the 70's, front and center with my feet propped up on the stage. It remains one of my cherished live shows. This print is from my limited edition of 700 being offered. Produced from my large original oil painting. The reproduction offered here has a large image area of 26 ” x 19 ”, on a heavy 100lb. dull cover stock (image area of 66 cm x 48.3 cm). I painted the original, and offer this print to you now to be able to put Muddy on your wall
