Screenprint, acrylic inks on archival 65 lb. colored stock, 18" x 24". Individually labeled with artist's stamp, JRF, on reverse side.
A new series of paradoxical, 1/1 screenprints inspired by re-appropriated Dada and Seditionary imagery and rhetoric. Each print is a challenging visual and conceptual balancing act between order and chaos; an ambiguous, but compelling, narrative without logic. The fragmented imagery on this particular work includes reproductions of a Duchamp postcard, leopard skin patterns, cassette tapes, an arm with a sword, the words 'Electric Cuts', etc. Because of the variety of images, screens, inks and paper stock used in this series, there are no two prints that are exactly alike.
Print may show evidence of minor scratches, dings and technical imperfections inherent to the nature of the creative process, but is perfectly acceptable.
