year of reprinting uncertain, but reprints are on lighter-weight stock, and are done on a computer so that the dots are more visible than on an originalBill Narum, the artist, was asked for suggestions on how to ID the original. He replied that the repros are done on a computer, and there are fairly obvious dots in the color. Also, the originals are printed on heavier stock.
This is an early Double Trouble concert poster, dated 1979, featuring Chris Layton, "Miss" Lou Ann Barton, Stevie Vaughan (no Ray), and Jackie Newhouse. This was designed by noted poster artist Bill Narum, and printed by Calico Press in Austin.
It's printed on very heavy stock, basically the weight of poster board, and measures approximately 11 1/2" x 17 1/2".
