This remains as one of the most iconic images of the WWII era, as one of the first posters printed for the first War Bond drives in early 1942.
The artist, N.C. Wyeth, was the son of the famous illustrator W.C Wyeth. Both created some of the most famous and remarkable book and magazine illustrations of their time.
At least one other 59 3/4" x 40" original edition exists, with several smaller sized prints of various sizes, the 30X40 being most common. This is a highly reproduced poster, originals can be quite sought after. Like most WWII posters, all the original edition posters were folded before being shipped from the Government Printing Office, so buyers should be weary of rolled versions that have no sign of fold lines.
