For the “life” side of the Halloween Coin, I have created a desert theme. I chose as a centerpiece the date palm (Tree of Life), which was common on coins in ancient Israel, and serves a vital role in the Coachella Valley agricultural economy. Every image on this side of the coin serves a symbolic purpose. Can you find it all?
For the “death” side of the Halloween Coin, I incorporated several Phish songs into a Halloween-themed scene. There are ten symbolic references to Phish songs on this side of the coin, see if you can find them all! The kneeling skeleton symbolizes a soul returning to earth on Halloween to ask forgiveness for past transgressions.
The Halloween Coin was minted in a limited run of 300 sequentially numbered coins.
