"Here is SUPE RARE set of Shapard Fairey on METAL. All are hand numbered in pencil on the lower left corner as 1 of 1. Signed in pencil on the lower right by Shepard as well. The Beatles series was originally designed on by Fairey in 1997, this was "one of my most sought-after sets of work" according to his quote in the Supply and Demand book. See pages 260 and 261 for more. In 2000 Shepard did the set on metal, and I purchased it from his show at the Merry Karnowsky gallery in Los Angeles. This auction contains all 5 pieces professionally framed with a spacer to keep the plexi off the print. They feature John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Star and poor George Harrison was replaced with Andre the Giant. It comes from a smoke free home. You won't find a rarer print sent that this!!! Payment due within 5 days of auction. I will ship anywhere in the USA for $50 with insurance. If it goes over, then I will gladly cover the excess. I will NOT ship internationally. If you are in SoCal, you are welcome to pick them up. Per California State law, I will owe Mr. Fairey 5 percent of the sale of this set. His portion will come from the proceeds of the auction."This set is considered by many collectors to be the "holy grail" of Obey prints. These images are based on John Kelley's photographs of The Beatles (with Andre substituting for George Harrison).
