This is one of 4 images created for the Mock Show at Red Rocks during Phish's triumphant return there in the summer of 2009. Each print has all 4 dates of the nights played and "Red Rocks Amphitheater". Erin did one "Animal Totem" of each band member. The meanings of the totems are written at the bottom of the prints. There were 8 printed besides the artist proof. Only 7 were added to the edition. The 8th of each was sent to Phish.
The colors of each flow into the next. In the sky starting with Page/Groundhog and ending with Mike/Coyote is a sun "Mandela" rising and setting created of each band members instruments.
Page/Groundhog is the mystic, shamanistic totem. The Groundhog stands like a icon painting of a saint with halo. In his front hand is "black oleander surrounded by blue", in his raised hand the cosmic melody flows out. His mandela is a spiral of piano keys, twisted with imagery from Lawnboy.
