Event was cancelled soon after it started due to the promoter's inability to pay the performers. The Soft Machine (unbilled) were told they would not be paid, so they refused to perform, which resulted in rioting by the fans.
Balls was comprised of former members of the Plastic Ono Band, Moody Blues, and King Crimson.
