Part of the “Elect To Save†campaign launched by Universal Music Enterprises to attract music buyers to a sale of album titles in the weeks just before the November 2008 election.
Six posters (24" x 36"), featuring Nirvana, Bob Marley, KISS, The Who, Jimi Hendrix and Marvin Gaye, were plastered throughout key cities (New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Phoenix, Boston, Cleveland, St. Louis, Dallas and Miami) in a snipe campaign which launched on October 13 and continued through the election. The public could obtain free PDFs by texting a specific code on the posters which revealed a URL from which the posters could be downloaded.
Limited edition silkscreen posters were also distributed to key chains for promotions.
