These posters are made from the original artwork, which I still possess after all these years. Unlike 1978 when I was rushed and had little control over the printing outcome, these reprints are created under my authorization and supervision and are actually more faithful to the original artwork. In addition, these high quality reproductions have been digitally re-mastered and printed with the latest state-of-the-art technology. Posters are printed on the Toshiba eStudio 311c - The latest digital printer to come out this year, ensuring the finest quality digital print currently available today.
These authentic 1978 vintage Bob Marley Concert Poster Reproductions are only available from me, Colleen Cannon-Karlos, the original artist, or my authorized agents. Each reprint is clearly identified as a reproduction and copyrighted. The addition of a modified border clearly distinguishes it from the original press run. The paper used for these reproductions is also different. It has a higher quality, for better print stability and longevity, than the paper used for the original press run which tended to fade. The original colors have been closely replicated, as well.
This Limited Edition consist of 2000 reprints of which 1000 will be reserved for sell next February 2005 to celebrate Bob’s 60th birthday.
