Ca. early 90s, exact year of issue not known.

"Up for bid is a Vintage Early 90's wheat paste poster. It is a Shepard Fairey,OBEY, Andre The Giant. DEFINITELY RARE and not too many have probably survived!! NOT SIGNED or dated. Measures about 21 inches by 14 and 1/2 inches.In one of the pictures put a 11 by 17 piece of paper behind it.For size reference.IT IS A FAIRLY LARGE SIZE!!!
These wheat paste posters were made cheaply,cut out by hand,glued on stuff with a wheat flour and water mixture.and pasted wherever.Part of what made Shepard Fairey famous.
Got this from a guy out of San Francisco, About 2 or 3 years ago (Maybe longer?).Said he hung with skateboard guys and got it fom a friend that knew Shepard Fairy.Had no doubt as to the guy I got it from, as he sold other Shepard Fairey stuff.Bought this just as he was becoming big and noticed on the scene. Being a skateboarder,and seeing Shepard's work on decks. I do not have a way to authenticate this,But I am honest and this is how I bought it from who I did.
Minor creases along side edges.The guy I bought it from had them stored for a long time in a tube and it caused minor damage(Creases).probably took at least a month of having it sandwiched between other stuff to get it to lay flat."
