I’m excited to announce the first art release of the new year. This original piece was an acrylic painting (sold) that was scanned in and dropped into digital on the iPad. It was a blast to then digitally paint countless stars, galaxies, and other space phenomena, heavily influenced by the mind-blowing images from the @jameswebb_nasa telescope. Final print output was by the unstoppable @davecorreia, who absolutely nailed it with super-accuracy in both color vibrancy and crystal clear details.
“Eternal Cycle” is a 16” x 20” archival giclée print on cold press 100% cotton watercolor paper. Each print is hand signed and numbered in a limited edition size of 75 prints. In addition, 5 hand embellished prints (HE) will be available, each uniquely hand embellished with inks and acrylics, including color shifting and glow in the dark pigments.
This print release goes live to the public via my online shop this coming Saturday, January 20. My plan this year is a new art release on the 20th of each month. For those who don’t know, 20 is my favorite number, and holds a great deal of personal significance for me. It is in no way any sort of self-imposed monthly deadline, with the attempt to facilitate better time-management and hopefully lead to a more organized and functional business operation, one that could perhaps lead to better customer satisfaction, lower stress, and an overall reduction in general burnout.
