The vinyl replica of Years Adrift [18”] is an ode to those of us who have ever strayed off a path, spent our lives on a ledge, and had trouble finding our way home. The sculpture pauses time, capturing the moment before Fever takes one step forward or one step back, before he falls or flies.
Your own life experience will determine how you imagine his fate.
The sculpture comes in two editions that can be wall-mounted or displayed free-standing. Years Adrift – Ephemera finds the optimism in the story, bringing Fever to a world of color and vitality. Years Adrift - Pain imagines Fever in a grayscale monochrome with classic coarse blood drips, illuminating his despair before he makes one final attempt to save himself and take flight.
Every order of Years Adrift contains one lifeless goose, a despondent Fever, and one white ledge for him to stand upon as he contemplates his future.
