"This past weekend in Las Vegas, Umphrey's McGee held their 7th annual "UM Bowl" 2-Day Event, and I'm honored to have made the official poster for it.
One of the coolest aspects of this event is how the fans are given the opportunity to "conduct" the band by choosing the songs they will play in their set. As it was described to me by the band, it's like a concert version of "Choose Your Own Adventure", which is really cool.
So the image I created plays on that idea, where there is a conductor out on his balcony, conducting the symphony of guitar players and drummers in the entire neighborhood. And as the music starts, the magic begins to flow from everyone involved and out into the air.
These posters sold out at the event this weekend, but I'll have a small amount of my Artist's Edition available, as well as two very special and exclusive variants: one on Lava HoloFoil, and one on Sparkle HoloFoil. All of which I screenprinted by hand." - James Flames
