A native of Venezuela, Francisco Souto is Assistant Professor of Art at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. A distinguished printmaker and master practitioner of the mezzotint process, Francisco Souto received the Master of Fine Arts from the Ohio State University and the Bachelor of Fine Arts from Herron School of Art, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Souto's recent exhibitions include the British International Miniature Print Exhibition, 2003 and the Boston Printmakers 2003 North American Print Exhibition; the Florida Printmakers 13th National Competition, 2004; Making An impression: Printmaking at Herron School of Art, 2003. Francisco Souto's prints are in many corporate and private collections, as well as the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas at Austin. Contact
