About

Ray, Anna Sandu

Anna Sandhu Ray was a court artist. She was sort of a bohemian, selling her art work on the streets, only asking enough to live on. She did the sketches of the trial of James Earl Ray in 1977 on the escape from Brushy Mountain State Prison. At that time she was working for a Knoxville Television Station. The following year she married James Earl Ray by proxy. They remained married for 14 years, divorcing in 1993. Anna's talent stretches far beyond Courtroom sketches to beautiful images of young women, landscapes, and country scenes of yesteryear.Quoted from art-mart.com
