Samuel Lowder, (1978-Present, USA) aka "FrePrs", emerged for the first time in the early 1990s through his graffiti in and around SoCal as well as other parts the world. In the late-1990s, he began moving from freehand graffiti to stencil and poster pasting. He continued to rework and develop his style for the next few years with simplified rendering of old advertisements, cartoons and movie posters. Although still a freehand graffiti artist, stenciling became the prime medium and form of expression for FrePrs. Samuel's work treads the line between simple design and complex weathered texture and layering. Studied in Santa Barbara Ca., moving from Los Angeles Ca. to Kihei, Maui, Hawaii, USA, where he currently resides.(From MK Gallery Website: 08/06/2015)http://www.mkgallery.com/samuellowderfreprs-biography.html
