: Along with Alton Kelley, Rick Griffin, Stanley Mouse, and Wes Wilson, Victor Moscoso became known as one of the "Big Five" of psychedelia in the 60's.  Victor Moscoso was one of the few sixties poster artists with extensive, formal art training. With his stunning use of clashing, vibrating colors and deliberately non-legible use of psychedelic lettering, groundbreaking designs for The Family Dog and others helped elevate the rock poster into the realm.
