About
Scott Harrison is an internationally known tattooer and raconteur, infamous for his bizarre and appalling tattoo design sheets. Born in Altus, Oklahoma, he enrolled in art school in Boston under the illusion that he would meet Andre Breton, Antonin Artaud or suitable substitutes. No such luck. Despite this he received a BFA in printmaking and a BA in Literature. He started tattooing in Chicago in 1990. In 1999, he received an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Scott's work has been shown in major museums and galleries and has appeared in numerous books and periodicals ranging from The Journal of Higher Education to Kinky People, Places and Things. He has tattooed over ten thousand people including such diverse celebrities as Scottie Pippen, Jimmy Gestapo, Master P., and Tony Fitzpatrick. He now lives in New York City, where he tattoos tiny black shapes on German tourists. Contact
