Classic Dave Cockrum Legion of Superheroes pin-up. This is a two-page model sheet from Dave Cockrum's sketch book (circa 1973). The character is Quetzal. Dave first designed the character for a group he later called the Outsiders. He had hoped that the team, which included Nightcrawler, would guest star in the legion book. It never happened and Nightcrawler went on to become a member of the X-Men. The page is drawn in ink and colored with marker.
